IMPERFECT LOVE by Rebecca Talley—Book Review/Giveaway
IMPERFECT LOVE by Rebecca Talley. This book hit too close to home for me. I saw it coming but for some reason it didn't register fast enough for me, so I had a hard time with the book. It was well written. The characters were wonderful. I loved the ending. It was clean and just about anyone would love it, but like I said. For me, it hit too close to home.
:) :) :)
Lauren Wilson is well on her way to her happily-ever-after. She has a career she loves, a husband she adores and a baby on the way, but a devastating diagnosis changes everything. The life she's built suddenly crumbles around her when her husband insists she choose—the baby or him.
Returning to her small hometown to rebuild her shattered life, Lauren crosses paths with Ethan Campbell, the man who stole her teenage heart. The old attraction is still there, but Lauren won't admit it to anyone—least of all herself. Her only priority is providing a life for her child, and she can't afford to get it wrong. Ethan is confusing everything, including stirring up feelings she’s not prepared to face. Will she spend her life raising her baby alone or is the family she's always wanted finally within her reach?

Book Buzzin'--The Up Side of Down
In conjunction with Autism Awareness Month, I'm buzzin' Rebecca Cornish Talley's The Up Side of Down. She's also hosting a giveaway on her blog that runs through October 31st. Let me know what you think!“Hmmm,” the doctor muttered.
Natalie wrinkled her forehead, almost afraid to ask, and said, “What does that mean?”
“You do know you’re pregnant, right?”
Her breath caught in her throat. “Excuse me?”
“You’re pregnant.”
Her heartbeat thundered in her ears. “I’m what?”
Natalie Drake certainly has her hands full raising a large family, dealing with her difficult mother, and maintaining a relationship with her rebellious teenager. Just when things seem to be going smoothly, she finds out another unexpected surprise—she’s going to have a baby. Faced with so many challenges, Natalie must learn to trust in a plan that isn’t what she imagined and discover that every situation has an upside.
