Broken Things to Mend by Karey White
This is a very cute story, although a bit predictable. The characters were fun and the setting made things intriguing. That being said, I had a hard time reading this story. I felt like I couldn't pinpoint the point of view. A few paragraphs were from one person's viewpoint then it would switch. It was almost like Karey was trying to do an omniscient point of view but for me, it didn't work well. I ended up scanning through some of it and by the midway point things seemed to settle a bit and each section was in a different point of view. This is just one person's opinion and it may not bother other people, so I would have to say if the head hoping (changing points of view in the same section) this is a great love story.

Celia is in desperate need of a change--a change of scenery, a change of pace, and a complete redo of all relationships. Not knowing what else to do, she opens a map, closes her eyes, and lets fate decide her future. Then she packs her meager belongings and buys a one-way ticket to a little town on the fringes of Oregon's Deschutes National Forest called Sisters. She's wanted a family for years. Will she find one in Sisters?
What Celia doesn't plan to find is a strange Chinese woman whose meddling ways keep throwing her in the path of a handsome, but reserved, forest ranger. But no matter how kind or dependable Silas seems to be, there are some things in Celia's past that neither of them can escape, and this time, the damage might be too much to mend.
