WEDDING BELLES by Melanie Jacobson, Jenny Proctor, Becca Wilhite, Brittany Larsen

WEDDING BELLES: A NOVEL IN FOUR PARTS by Melanie Jacobson, Jenny Proctor, Becca Wilhite, and Brittany Larsen. Well, this was a fun read. A novel in four parts is what the title says, but I took it more as four novellas with interweaving characters. It was fun to see some of the minor characters in one part become main characters in the next. I found myself wondering whom the next story would be about. I loved most of the characters and their story lines. I loved being able to experience the story through different authors, and I found myself wanting more from each of them. This is a fantastic collection of clean, romance stories that anyone who loves weddings, their mishaps, and romance would adore. I'd recommend this to anyone.

A clean and wholesome romantic comedy told in four parts.

Harper is an event planner with dreams of taking over the Charleston wedding scene . . . until she meets the biggest Bridezilla of her career. She needs the job, but the only way to keep it is to hire a temperamental chef with big dreams of his own. Can Zak’s passion for brilliant food save the wedding? Or will the sparks flying between Harper and Zak burn them both?

Janie is a classical cellist booked to play a posh Charleston wedding. She’s excited to have the lucrative gig until the groom’s brother, Emmett, shows up and asks her to help him play a song he wrote for the happy couple. The only trouble? Emmett is her former high school crush and never did anything but ignore Janie. When chemistry sizzles between them, will Janie have the courage to move beyond past hurts and embrace an unpredictable future?

Lily has been Dahlia's best friend, partner-in-crime, and now her maid of honor . . . until suddenly there's no wedding, and she's left to clean up Dahlia's biggest mess of all. She's been friends with Deacon, the jilted groom, for just as long, and it's up to her rescue him after Hurricane Dahlia blows through. But as their friendships deepen, so do their feelings. Can she trust their growing chemistry, or is this another disaster waiting to happen?

Sutton is a photographer running from her past. Only the pleas from her best friend to photograph her wedding could bring Sutton back to Charleston. Her plan is to get in and get out before her ex knows she and their daughter are in town. Before she can leave Charleston behind for good, she meets Max , who turns out to be the safe place she didn’t know she was looking for. She’s finally ready to quit running, if only she can find him again…

WRONG FOR YOU by Jenny Proctor

WRONG FOR YOU by Jenny Proctor. This was such a fun read. I loved everything about it. The setting was perfect as were the characters. Lane's take charge, get involved attitude had me on her side from the very beginning. Both Jaime and Simon were endearing in their own ways, and I wasn't sure who I wanted her to end up with through most of the book. But in the end, she ended up with the right one. The flow of the story had me turning pages late into the night. It is a fantastic read for any and everyone. I highly recommend this book to any and everyone who loves a good story.

Lane Bishop is a hardworking, intelligent, beautiful young woman. And with her recent move to Chapel Hill, she is determined to leave behind the drama and effort of keeping up with the dating scene. Even so, Lane somehow manages to get dragged out by a gaggle of girls to go watch boys play soccer. Just watching is not Lane's forte, so she joins in the fun and leads her team to victory.
Rather than feeling intimidated by the vivacious beauty on the opposing team, Jamie Hamilton is intrigued. Risking his "untouchable" dating status, he decides to pursue Lane—with a little help from his older brother Simon. With Simon's behind-the-scenes assistance, Jamie proves irresistible, even to a disillusioned dater like Lane. But as she gets to know both brother, Lane can't help but wonder—beneath the grand gestures and romantic words, is she falling for the wrong guy?

LOVE AT FIRST NOTE by Jenny Proctor—book review/giveaway

LOVE AT FIRST NOTE by Jenny Proctor. This was a very fun read, especially being a musician myself. I enjoyed the characters and the music that was talked about. It's an up paced story that falls into place like the pieces Elliot composes. There were a couple of places that described things in the music world that weren't quite accurate, but no one other than someone who's involved in that world would notice. It's a fantastic read that anyone would loved. I highly recommend it.

Emma Hill was practically born with a violin in her hands. She lives for the life of the piece, for each song’s story, for the perfect stillness after the endnotes when the vibrations of sound are still humming through her body. If only her love life were that harmonic. But she knew her chances at love would take a hit when she decided to leave her prestigious concertmaster position in the Cleveland Orchestra and move back home to Asheville, North Carolina. She justifies her actions with the fact that being concertmaster for the Asheville Symphony is better than no dates and no job.
But when Emma’s world collides with piano-playing YouTube sensation Elliott Hart, she finds herself falling for the way he plucks at her heartstrings. Despite a—ahem—not-so-good first impression, the two soon develop the beginnings of a rhythmic relationship. But when Elliott insists they can’t be together, it’s up to Emma to strike up a little romance. Will she be able to bring their two worlds into harmony, or will she only manage to get herself in trouble?
